Flexible POS display for pharmacies

HARTMANN: Modular wound care centre at the point of sale

The STI Group has developed a modular, rotatable long-term display for HARTMANN’s wound care products in pharmacies. The compact POS display showcases compresses, bandages and plasters within a small footprint. Interchangeable trays, hooks, pushers and promotional panels allow for changing product ranges and campaigns. Set-up, including stocking, takes just 10 to 15 minutes.

Challenge

HARTMANN was looking for a new display solution for compresses, bandages and plasters in pharmacies across Germany. The previous rotating display was too large, unwieldy and relatively complex to operate. As many pharmacies have limited retail space, the new generation needed to be more compact and sturdy. At the same time, it had to allow for changing product ranges and be expandable with additional product holders or an add-on module as required.

Solution

The STI Group developed the Wound Care Centre as a compact, rotatable long-term display featuring a sturdy steel frame, plastic cladding and interchangeable acrylic display panels. A continuous slot system flexibly accommodates trays, product hooks, pushers, inlays and scanner rails. Accessories and product packs are supplied pre-assembled. This means the display can be assembled, restocked and adapted for further product ranges or campaigns without the need for tools.

Benefits

  • Suitable for long-term use: The display is designed to last for three to five years in a pharmacy.
  • Flexibly expandable: interchangeable trays, hooks, pushers and inlays allow for new product ranges; an additional add-on module can be attached if required.
  • Ready for use in no time: assembly and full product installation take just 10 to 15 minutes on site and require no tools.
  • Compact and sturdy: the smaller design makes better use of the limited retail space in pharmacies; the metal frame enhances stability, particularly in the swivelling lower section.
  • Predictable logistics: Direct dispatch from the STI Group warehouse, simultaneous delivery of pre-assembled product packs and collection of the transport pallet all support a coordinated installation process.
